Lone, others present fresh 370 resolution



In a recent Jammu and Kashmir Assembly session, People's Conference (PC) leader Sajad Lone, along with other opposition leaders, presented a new resolution advocating for the restoration of Article 370 and Article 35A, which previously granted special autonomy to the region. Lone openly criticized the National Conference (NC), challenging them to clarify their stance on the issue. The resolution, initiated by PDP’s Waheed Parra, sparked intense debate, with Lone emphasizing the importance of Article 370 to the region’s identity and pledging his party’s support for future resolutions on the matter

Sajad Lone, along with other opposition figures in Jammu and Kashmir, recently introduced a resolution in the legislative assembly seeking to restore Article 370 and Article 35A, which provided the region with special autonomy prior to their revocation in 2019. Lone criticized the National Conference (NC) for ambiguity regarding their support and urged them to take a clear stance. He pledged full support for any future resolutions backing the articles. The debate reflects ongoing regional and political tensions surrounding the status and autonomy of Jammu and Kashmir.
